I would appreciate some information on CPALL As the Kingdoms largest retailer, the loss of 50% of share value in Feb. of this year is surprising. I notice it occurred at dividend reporting time. Was there that much disappointment over the dividend, or were other forces at play?
One would think that after a 50% haircut, and with business still booming, that CPALL would be a real find, but the stock has done nothing, despite it's apparent status as a defensive issue. Please give me some advice and background on this. Thank you.

Duh! There was a stock splitat the same time as the dividend.OK
