Perhaps they don't want you here. If you are here, the shop has to be open. To have the shop open, staff need to be both employed and paid. An increase in prices ensures you will not come here, therefore I don't need to employ anyone, so save my money! (inverse logic or what!)
British Rail did/does the same thing BTW! (I know they have been "privatised" but I am too lazy to list the individual parties concerned)

Once here (figuratively and numerically speaking) you have to eat, sleep, travel, and depart. Short term gain for long term loss perhaps, but then again, how many silly people are there in this world?
Alternatively, who decided that now you only get 30bht. for your dollar when previously you got 50? (start at the banks of America. Just a suggestion!)

They should take their heads out of the Sand, take the Blinkers off, everywhere else in the World has the sence to try and keep their Customers, But what do they do at a time the Baht is so expensive !! Increase the prices, and
decrease the Service, Thai Airways are a tipical Example, The Service is now disgusting, and they have changed the Frequent
Flyer Miles System Once again, Twice within the last 12 months.

I have now started to fly with other Airlines, and its not until you do this that you realise just how bad Thai Airways are, they
have got learn how important the Customer is, NO CUTOMERS = NO JOBS .

TG are also losing third party work at the airport as a result of substandard or unacceptable work/prices!
Do you know that promotion within the company is based on "time served" rather than "knowledge gained?"
Remember..... the old man is always correct!

Why do so many Farangs react as if they had just got off the plane? I mean any resident Farang will tell you that looking for logic in Thai actions is like looking for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow

Rainbows only occure when water falls from the sky. (and the sun is in the right place, or the people)
Water is gold to many people and they have, and perhaps will fight for it.
Many value water above gold. (rainbows are pretty though)
As I recall, BR did the same and now the government has suggested a payrise for them as an example to the English working populace perhaps?

:o Surprise Surprise :!: What's the different between Raising the price in Thailand and Reducing the quantities (10-15%)of your daily products' in package( like milk, noodle, water etc...) of the big industries like Nestle, Danone and others in order to keep their prices low ,the customers can't notice if they're not informed or notice carefully. Cheating on big scale (by the Monopole commerce)is more profitable in the recession global ! Nobody complain because it's too meticulous  Shame on you!

The difference is that we are in a deflationary depression...not simply a recession. Commodity prices are dropping. The costs of doing business are dropping...wages are dropping. ... if we were in a recession and prices were rising, then that would be a different argument which might justify a rise in prices.

this is a fine example of pure greed; where people irrationally see the opportunity to earn money but lack the foresight to earn customers.
