What is a pessimist? A pessimist is the opposite of an optimist. If you don't know what either word means read through this week's Blondie for the Bangkok Post's Sunday comics section. suit yourself – do or think whatever you want, (even though you do not agree) ตามใจคุณ

annual – happening once a year ประจำปี
turnout – the number of people who come to an event or take part in an activity  ผู้ที่เข้าร่วม

mild – not strong เบา, ไม่หนัก, ไม่รุนแรง
suit – to be convenient or suitable for someone  เหมาะกับ

concern – a worry ความกังวล

bash – a party or celebration

pessimist – someone who thinks that the worst thing will happen in every situation ผู้มองดูในแง่ร้าย
optimist –  someone who tends to expect that good things will happen  ผู้ที่มองโลกในแง่ดี
