Do you think you are brave enough to be in the same room with 15 dinosaurs, some of which stand more than 10 metres tall?

One, the brachiosaurus, stands 14 metres tall and is 23 metres long from nose to tail. That is much, much bigger than a tour bus. Fortunately, this gigantic creature is a herbivore, a plant eater, so you should be safe as long as it doesn’t step on you.

That is not true for the fearsome tyrannosaurus rex (photo above). It is a carnivore and it could eat you in one big bite. Stay away from him.

You can get a chance to test your courage this November when 15 dinosaurs are coming to Bangkok. Happily, the room will be very big – Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani – and the since dinosaurs are extinct, the ones coming to Bangkok will not be real.

They will look, move and sound like they are real, however, and that can be scary indeed. There will also be a volcano, a forest fire and an indoor ocean, all part of a spectacular show named “Walking With Dinosaurs” which will be in town from November 17-21.

Save your money though because the show is not free. Tickets costs from 500 to 2000 baht. I suggest you tell your parents that everyone will learn a lot about dinosaurs and what the earth was like a hundred million years ago. The show is based on the award-winning BBC television series, “Walking With Dinosaurs”.
