Steve Jobs is in town for a 3-month stay, but will have nothing to say and will not even get a change of clothes. That, of course, is because the real Steve Jobs is dead and Bangkok’s visitor is made of wax.

Steve Jobs arrives in Bangkok for 3-month stay
Steve Jobs is in town for a 3-month stay, but will have nothing to say and will not even get a change of clothes.
That's because the icon behind the creation of iPhones, iPads and iPods has come to Bangkok as a wax figure, taking his place besides such wax celebrities as Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso.
His wax figure wears his trademark black cotton turtleneck, Levi's 501 blue jeans and New Balance trainers, in a pose seen on a Fortune magazine cover in 2006.
A team of artists spent three months to create the figure, which has already been on display in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
"Steve Jobs' inventions have changed the face of modern technology. He has inspired and influenced millions of people and undoubtedly deserves a place here," said Noppadon Prapimpunt, head of Bangkok Cluster, Merlin Entertainments Group, which runs wax museums in 12 cities.
The man who built and then rebuilt the Apple empire died on Oct 5, 2011 in Palo Alto, California.
