The summer school break is one of the most anticipated times for many children as they will have a couple of months to themselves to take part in whatever activities they fancy but just couldn't fit in during the school days.

Before they indulge in their long lists of nonsensical plans, however, caring parents should help them choose the right activities that will be both recreational and beneficial to their little brains.
And there is good news as the Paradise Park shopping complex is devoting over 6,000 square metres on its 3rd and 4th floors to become a learning playground for children to develop to their full potential during the coming semester break.
Called "The World of Edutainment", the new zone is housing 50 famous academic and skill-enhancement institutes in a warm and safe environment that frees parents of all worries and gives the kids some much-needed space to explore their potential.
Hundreds of classes are offered to children from the age of six months up to school years to nurture their knowledge and skills in various fields, including academic subjects, languages, music, sports, arts, sciences and recreational activities.
Parents wishing to have their children become fluent in foreign languages will have many interesting choices at the language zone - the AUA Language Institute, Inlingua, Phonics 1st, and OKLS.

Training kids to be musical geniuses will be a job for Siam Music Yamaha, Paradise Park, Fiddle Day and Prasarnsilp Music Academy, which all focus on teaching youths and the general public music techniques, from basic to advanced levels.
To treat young dance lovers are Bangkok Dance Institute and Star Maker; while sporty kids will love Pee Wee Tennis and Paradise Gym, which offers martial arts courses for children aged from 4 years up.
Those wishing to sharpen their maths skills will have more varied choices - Nova Education Centre, Kumon, Mathnasium, One 2 One Centre, King Match and International Chinta-Kanit Education; while ICT Training Centre and I-SCI Scientific Centre are there especially for computer whiz-kids.
Young artists can also enhance their skills and develop their creativity at Clay Works, Global Art and Color Me Art School.
Besides the brain-boosting courses from Brain School, Quality Kids and Babies Genius, the Play Chef will make cooking a fun time for children and the International Academy of Magic will offer magic classes with over 500 tools and pieces of equipment.
The Paradise Park also plans to embrace many more institutes such as EduKids Plus, Net Design, Season Creative Art Academy, SPN Music School, C-Art, Nature EQ, Pingu's English and Asian Taekwondo in the near future.
Labelled the Oasis of Eastern Bangkok, the Paradise Park is located on Srinakarin Road. RT
