Mark warns Tong’s lie on export target goals to affect confidence in gov’t

‘Abhisit’ says that Kittirat’s lie on export target goals is a dangerous matter affecting confidence in the government.

Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva, leader of the Democrat Party, said that he was alarmed when he learned that a finance minister was allowed to lie because that was a dangerous matter. If the stated data did not correspond to the actual targets set by the government, that is equivalent to (causing) a decline in confidence, not only in Mr. Kittirat na Ranong, the (current) Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, but a reduction in confidence in any person taking the position of Finance Minister of the Thai government, and in the government of Thailand as well.
