This is a story of about a student protest. One of the reasons we chose it was that the students were carrying handwritten signs. For most learners, reading handwriting is much harder than reading printed text, so here is a bit of practice before we go to the news story itself.

นร.ประท้วงผอ.โรงเรียนพฤติกรรมไม่เหมาะสม

นักเรียนวัดโบสถ์ศึกษาเมือง พิษณุโลกประท้วงขับไล่ผอ. ชี้มีพฤติกรรมไม่เหมาะกับนักเรียนหญิง ด้านเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาให้ย้ายออกก่อนตั้งกก.สอบ

เมื่อวันที่ 18 ก.พ. ที่โรงเรียนวัดโบสถ์ศึกษา อ.วัดโบสถ์ จ.พิษณุโลก กลุ่มนักเรียนทั้งม.ต้นและม.ปลายประมาณ 100 คน ได้รวมตัวกันบริเวณหน้าศาลในโรงเรียน วัตถุประสงค์คือต้องการประท้วงขับไล่ นายสมาน  สารีคำ ผอ.โรงเรียนวัดโบสถ์ศึกษา เนื่องจากมีพฤติกรรมไม่เหมาะสมกับนักเรียนผู้หญิง โดยมี น.ส.พลอย  โกนสันเทียะ นร.ชั้นม.6/1 เป็นแกนนำ ซึ่งกลุ่มนักเรียนเรียกร้องให้ผู้อำนวยการเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาเขต 39  ให้ย้ายผอ.โรงเรียนออกนอกพื้นที่

Pupils protest against principal’s inappropriate conduct

Students at Wat Boat Sueksa School in Phitsanulok held a protest (demanding that) the principal be removed, accusing him of inappropriate conduct towards girl pupils. The Secondary Educational Service Area Office has transferred the principal out before appointing an investigating committee.

On February 18, about 100 lower and upper secondary school students, of Wat Boat Sueksa School in Wat Bot district, Phitsanulok gathered in front of the school’s shrine with the aim of protesting to remove Mr Samarn Sareekham, director of the school, for improper conduct against girl students with Miss Ploy Konesantia – a Matthayom 6/1 student acting as their leader. The students demanded the director of the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 39 transfer the principal out of the area.
