ตำรวจท่องเที่ยว รวบ แก๊งแลตเวีย ปลอมบัตรเครดิตรูดซื้อสินค้า

พ.ต.อ.อาชยน ไกรทอง รองผู้กำกับการกองบังคับการตำรวจท่องเที่ยว แถลงผลการจับกุมนายวลาดิสลาฟส์ โปปลาฟสกีส์ อายุ 53 นายอาร์คาดิจส์ อาจูชส์ อายุ 56 ปี สัญชาติแลตเวีย พร้อมของกลางบัตรอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ปลอมของธนาคารต่างๆ 8 ใบ และอุปกรณ์กล้องประเภทเลนส์กล้องและแฟลตถ่ายภาพ

จากการสอบสวนผู้ต้องหาทั้งสองคนให้การรับสารภาพว่า ได้ใช้บัตรอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ปลอมรูดซื้อสินค้าจริง ซึ่งจะเลือกซื้อสินค้าประเภทกล้องถ่ายภาพ จากนั้นจะนำไปขายต่อทันที และส่งเงินให้กับเพื่อนร่วมขบวนการที่อยู่ต่างประเทศ ส่วนบัตรอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ปลอมนั้น จะสวมข้อมูลลูกค้าอเมริกา เพราะง่ายต่อการปลอมแปลง

Latvian gang nabbed for forging credit cards

Tourist police arrested a Latvian gang who forged credit cards to buy goods.

Pol Col Archayon Kraithong, deputy chief of the Tourist Police, reported (the results of) the arrest of  Mr. Vladislavs Poplavskis, 53 and Mr. Arkadijs Artjuhs, 56, both of Latvian nationality, together with confiscated goods including eight fake electronic cards for accounts at various banks and camera equipment including lenses and camera flashes.

In the investigation, both suspects confessed that they had in fact used fake electronic cards to buy goods. They chose to buy camera equipment which they then sold immediately and transferred money abroad to friends in the gang . As for the fake electronic cards, they fabricated the account data of American customers because they were easy to falsify.
