Getting ready for the AEC

Ekachai school in Samut Sakhon province is ahead of most other schools in preparing its students for the Asean Economic Community (AEC).

The school has just opened an Asean Study Centre  and the students are actively learning about the other countries joining the economic community by the end of 2015.

At the opening ceremony for the centre, this girl, dressed in national costume of Vietnam, gave information about the country to visitors.

Myanmar is of special interest to students at the school because there are many Myanmar migrant workers in the province. Here, young students erect roads signs written in the Burmese language.
