Health activist Preeyanan Lorsermwattana held a head-shaving protest yesterday to denounce the government’s slow progress in pushing forward the legislation on medical malpractice compensation.

She said the average malpractice suit takes two to four years to settle and during that time the victims and their families often struggle to cope with medical costs.

Factory prices of all kinds of models sold worldwide can be checked on the internet, meaning that officials in charge of tax collection are turning a blind eye on such malpractice.
