Having scored a major success in relocating its beer garden to the 18th floor of Zen Tower at CentralWorld last year, Heineken is raising the standard for Thailand's annual beer parks again.

This year, the brand has teamed up with Greyhound's creative director Bhanu Inkawat, and veterans in the design, architecture, lighting and dining service industries to create "GreenSpace by Greyhound - The New Masterpiece", a new beer park-style entertainment with art and design playing an important role to enhance the drinking and dining experience.
"This year Heineken is breathing a fresh new meaning into beer gardens by blending design, art and music together," said Prin Malakul, marketing director of Thai Asia Pacific Brewery Co. "The idea is to elevate the beer park experience for fans to chill out at a prime location - right in the middle of Bangkok during the cool season - and to enjoy the city's ambience and panoramic view."
Bhanu Inkawat is in charge of the overall design of the new beer park. It has a playful theme reflected in the overall venue design and on all displayed art pieces, as well as in the cuisine prepared by Greyhound Cafe's chefs and served artistically on unique utensils.
Other new elements this year include more seating space, spanning over 3,000 square metres on the 18th-20th floors of Zen Tower. Each floor is divided into three zones - Suburban, City, and Penthouse Art Yard. It can accommodate up to 1,200 people at one time.
On the food side, the menu features 25 signature items and specially-created fusion cuisine by the Greyhound Cafe team.
"For us, dining is also an art and that is why our chefs have come up with the 'GreenSpace Creation' menu specially for Heineken," said Pornsiri Rojmeta, managing director of Greyhound Cafe.

Also introduced this year is the pre-paid dining card system to give customers more convenience in ordering drinks and food, without having to waste time exchanging food coupons.
"On the music front, 'GreenSpace by Greyhound' promises great music performances by Thailand's well-known bands and musicians," said Prin. "In addition, Heineken is introducing a one-of-a-kind entertainment under the theme 'Here Today, Gone Tomorrow', whereby Thailand's leading artists and bands will be making 'surprise' performances unannounced on stage."
Inspiring art pieces on exhibit at the 'GreenSpace by Greyhound' were created by a team of well-known Thai artists - Chalit Nakpawan, Jiradech-Pornpilai Meemalai, ML Jirathorn Jiraprawat, Wasinburi Supanichworapat, Jitsing Somboon, Taweesak Srithongdee, Ravit Terdwong, Saengthong Ket-Uthong, Nattapol Leeyawanich and Jack Supermachine.
