Have you ever wondered where Thai people came from or what "Thainess" actually means? How can American fried rice be a real Thai dish? A walk through these containers will make you think twice about what "Thainess" really means and where all Thais originate from.

The Museum Siam Discovery Museum has packed contents of "The Account of Thailand" into four containers under the "Muse Mobile" project for all to learn and see at Parc Paragon, beginning today until Wednesday, July 15.

Container No. 1 features the diversity of the Thai people and their lifestyle in "Thai DNA". Container No. 2 features Suvarnabhumi or the Land of Gold from the prehistoric time where Thailand and its civilisation were rooted. Container No. 3 unfolds the pattern of the city of Bangkok that has been remodelled from the ancient city of Ayutthaya. The fourth container shadows the change during the reign of King Rama V when Siam became Thailand, as well as contemporary items from the 1960's.

'Muse Mobile' will be showcased at Lampang City Municipality from August 1 to September 30. Admission is free. Call 02-225-2777 ext 411 - 4, or visit http://www.ndmi.or.th.
