The creme de la creme of Bangkok's entertainment world attended the OK! Awards 2009 party in full force to celebrate the fourth anniversary of the Thai edition of the magazine, held in the Grand Ballroom of the Intercontinental Hotel Bangkok.

‘OK!’ editor-in-chief Suthiporn Jongpunyangam, Media Transasia Thailand president Egasith Chotpakditrakul and Media Transasia vicepresident and publisher Rasina Uberoi Bajaj.

The futuristic theme of the party was a reflection of the magazine's focus on capturing the city's electrifying party and fashion trends as well as the lives of celebrities.

The highlight of the party was the announcement of 14 awards for Thailand's celebrities plus three special awards for the guests.

Wowing the crowd on stage was a sexy and brawny show that drew squeals from the party crowd. In "This is It, Sex Bad Show" from Chaiwat "Top" Thongsaeng, the heart-throb from the box office hit Bangkok Love Story delighted the audience with Michael Jackson's hot steps, though the dancers exposed a lot more skin than MJ.

Not to be outdone, a group of lively actresses, namely Chalisa "Ming" Boonkrongsap, Hatairat "Oh" Charoenchaichana, Kanya "Ying" Raiwan, Rasamee "Lukmee" Thongsiripraisri and Viyada "Tuk" Komarakul, surprised the audience with their totally new, hip look in a funky, hilarious dance "Nobody but Wonder Women Show" which put the original Wonder Girl dancers to shame.

Then it was time for the exciting moments of the party when the names of the 14 celebrity recipients of the OK! Awards 2009 were announced.

The Flashbulb Award for the young celebrity who never fails to catch the attention of photographers went to Pitchana "Janice" Sa-nguansat.

The Best Dressed Award went to Khunying Natthika Wattanavekin Angubolkul, president of the National Council of Women of Thailand and one of Thailand's most successful businesswomen.

The Male Hot Stuff Award this year went to Songkran Techanarong, while the Greatest Star Award went to Aranya Namwong, the famous actress of yesteryear who still commands the admiration of film fans.

This year's recipient of the Forever Young Award was actress Mayura Savetsila, who still shines in the entertainment world after 30 years of acting. Her youthful look for a woman in her thirties never fails to amaze people who admire her strict exercise regimen.

The biggest award of the night was the Big Heart Award, which went to celebrity forensic pathologist Khunying Porntip Rojanasunan.

Khunying Porntip said she was particularly proud of the honour because it was the same award as presented to Oprah Winfrey.

There were also three awards for the partynistas from the sponsors. The Face Wow! by Nars for the person with sexiest make-up went to actress Nadia Nimitwanich; the Best Dressed Award for the person whose outfits fit the party theme best went to model Cholada "Kae" Mekratree; and the Absolut Hot Hunk went to Akkapan "Om" Namart, who apparently won the hearts of the rainbow crowd that night.

With the formalities done, it was DJ Time's turn to keep the fun level up with his mixes.
