Bangpra International Golf Club originally opened in 1958 and is the one of the first golf courses in Thailand. It was built during the time of Marshal P. Piboonsongkram, by the Royal Irrigation Department on a total area of 550 rai and an 18-hole-par 72 course, and spectacular 500 golf holes. It is a joint-venture between the Tourism Authority of Thailand and a Japanese company. Near Si Racha, about 25 minutes' drive from Pattaya, the course is rich not only in terms of flora, but in fauna as well.
