Mae Jo Golf Club is an 18-hole par 72 championship golf course almost in the middle of Chiang Mai town. Situated right behind Mae Jo University, the oldest agricultural college in Chiang Mai, the course is less than 30 km or only 20 minutes' drive mostly along the divided highway from the airport. The course features rolling zoysia grass fairways and large challenging Korea velvet greens with beautiful views of Doi Suthep and other surrounding mountain ranges. With thousands of matured longan, lychee, mango, pomello, and tangerine trees alongside its fairways, the golf course looks and plays more like a well-matured course rather than a newly constructed one.
