ChimpChimp Crepes & Co, on the ground level of Le Chateau Mansion in Soi Ekamai 12 next to Ekamai International School, is an enchanting elfin cabin serving warm crepes, silky gelato, crunchy waffles, homemade ice-cream and hot and cold drinks, smoothies and coffee, all in a snug open-air corner of sofas and benches.
The house also has a selection of cakes in a cup - another way to saying cupcakes - and the star is the chocolate macademia flavour, which haunts you into the night like a childhood memory. The crepe is priced at 65 baht, plus 49 baht for an ice cream.
