The Indian Cultural Centre in Bangkok was formally inaugurated in September 2009 by Dr. Karan Singh, President of the ICCR, and Mr. Teera Salukpetch, the Minister for Culture in the Royal Thai Government.
The Centre, located on the same street as the Embassy of India, is in the city Centrum, in Prasarnmitr, on Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok.
The centre has a library and a multi-purpose hall, exhibition facilities and an auditorium for screening of films, etc.
The Council has deputed one India-based Director and three teachers in the streams of Bharatanatyam, Yoga and Sitar to this Centre.
