Information

The closing February event in the "Sunday 4 O'Clock at Sala Sudasiri Sobha" series will be a chamber concert with piano and viola by Dr James Miltenberger and his granddaughter Lillian Green on Feb 24. The duo recital will feature improvisation in classical music. Each composition on the recital will include added ornamentation and sections of the music, improvised by the performers. The programme will include music by Bach and Marin Marais, both from the Baroque era. Also on the programme will be music by Manuel de Falla, and American composers Scott Green and Christopher Jones (who have ties to West Virginia University). Beverages and light meals will be served after the concert. Admission is free of charge, but donations are appreciated. Proceeds will go to the Gift of Life Foundation to help needy blood disease patients. Sala Sudasiri Sobha concert hall is located on Lat Phrao Soi 41.
