The Gift of Life Foundation presents the next concert in the "Sunday 4 O'Clock at Sala Sudasiri Sobha" series featuring talented brother duo Kant and Krit Kosoltrakul in a piano recital this Sunday at 4pm.
The programme comprises an exciting and challenging repertoire for virtuoso pianists such as Beethoven's Waldstein and Tempest, Liszt's Mephisto Waltz and Tarantella, Bach's Prelude and Fugue In G-Major from Book I and Book II, and Rachmaninoff's Prelude Op 23 No.5.
Closing the evening will be a four-hand arrangement of Rachmaninoff's Italian Polka by Igor Roma.
Kant and Krit have won numerous awards from countries including Russia, the United States, Japan, Hong Kong and Thailand. The brothers were granted a scholarship by the Russian Government when they were aged 11 and 13.
Last December, they were invited by the Culture Department of the Russian government to perform solo recitals in Moscow and Baltiysk.
They have also been given a music scholarship from Shrewsbury International School of Bangkok.
Admission to the concert is free, but donations are greatly appreciated. Beverages and a light meal will be served after the show.
Proceeds will go to the Gift of Life Foundation to help needy blood disease patients.
