Information

One of Thailand's most renowned artists, Chuang Moolpinit, wants you to enter "The Twilight Zone", his biggest exhibition of new work in a decade. On at The Queen's Gallery on Ratchadamnoen Klang Avenue, the exhibition features up to 70 of his new works. The veteran artist is famous for his intricate drawings which harmoniously combine traditional Thai drawings with contemporary arts, portraying the concepts of nature, life cycles, and philosophy. Sometimes he reimagines the themes of religion and literature, resulting in a wide variety artworks, all based on the concept that "Nature is a great teacher". This has been a major inspiration throughout the five decades since his graduation from Silpakorn University, where he honed his artistic abilities with Prof Silpa Bhirasri. The Twilight Zone will be on display at The Queen’s Gallery from Sunday until April 30. The gallery is located on Ratchadamnoen Klang Avenue and opens daily, except Wednesdays, from 10am to 7pm. Call 02-281-5360-1 or 02-230-2701.
