Artery: Post-Modern Gallery presents "Peaceful Wrath", an exhibition of paintings by Chinese artist Bei Ni, who is reputed for her unique style.
Bei Ni is passionate about working with materials that have rough and uneven surfaces. Her past works include paintings on pottery, wood carvings and jewellery.
This will be her first solo show in Bangkok and will showcase 20 paintings which reflect anger in a calm manner, inspiring the audience to ask themselves: "Do you really believe what your eyes have seen?"
This concept encourages the audience to question everything around them _ be it the content or photos on the front page of the newspaper, what they read in magazines and books, or see on the TV and the internet. While most people tend to believe what they have seen, read or heard, Bei Ni's new collection encourages them to instead recognise, understand and rely on their own perspective in order to interpret things from experience.
