Whispers Of The Shadow Of A Quivering Leaf will be staged in the B-Floor Room of Pridi Banomyong Institute on March 28-30, April 1, 4-6 and 8, at 7.30pm.
Veteran Thai performer Bo Kittiphon invites the audience to take on a journey of self-discovery and healing during her solo Butoh dance performance starting next Thursday.
Entitled Whispers Of The Shadow Of A Quivering Leaf, the show is an on-stage memoir that journeys through experiences and feelings embedded in her heart and mind, from childhood to adulthood, through the form of Butoh dance.
"An echo from the dark shadows of my mind listens intently to the echoes from the deepest parts of your mind. The vibrations of these sounds resonate together," says Bo.
She will give a total of eight performances on March 28-30, April 1, 4-6 and 8, at 7.30pm. The venue is B-Floor Room at the Pridi Banomyong Institute on Sukhumvit Soi 55.
Besides the Butoh dance performance, Bo also presents an accompanying exhibition of photography entitled "Pathways And Memories". This will be on display at the same venue throughout the performance period.
The exhibition showcases images from her experience in working with friends _ both those alive and those who have passed away. The images recall her beginning, journeys, friendships, first meetings, and goodbyes.
Tickets cost 400 baht. For reservations, call 089-167-4039 or email email@example.com.
