Information

Songkran fun will start tomorrow at The Circle Ratchaphruk where everyone is invited to follow the religious ceremony of sprinkling water onto Buddha images before enjoying cultural activities. Held to promote cultural heritage, "The Circle Songkran Festival" will run until Tuesday. The five-day event will showcase Buddha images borrowed from nine well-known temples for Buddhists to pay homage and ask for blessings. They are from the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, Wat Suthat Thepwararam, Wat Rakhang Khositaram, the Temple of Dawn, Wat Kalayanamitr, Wat Intrawat (Taling Chan) and the City Pillar Shrine. There are also fun traditional activities and games for everyone in the family to enjoy, such as shooting, darts, balloon darts and a dunk tank. Water splashing is also among the highlights. Everyone is also expected to enjoy the lively and heart-warming atmosphere of the shopping mall decorated with a windmill in floral prints and hibiscus - the queen of tropical flowers. The Circle Ratchaphruk is located on Ratchaphruek Road. Call 02-865-6850 or visit www.thecircle.co.th.
