BeforeChamp will play live during the ‘Sound Wanderers’ dinner concert at Bed Supperclub on Friday and Saturday at 9pm.
Bed Supperclub presents the "Sound Wanderers" dinner concert featuring recycled sounds and revived instruments from here and around the world performed by the BeforeChamp duo this Friday and Saturday starting at 9pm. Quirky multi-instrumentalists Champ and Korn seem to have been doing the rounds for a good while now, appearing as opening act for established stars such as Greasy Cafe and Apartment Khunpa, and making their mark thanks to a live show that's part comedy routine, part vaudeville, but with musical chops _ and, most importantly, the songs _ to back it all up.
Their intriguing spin on the usual sensitive ukulele crooner act incorporates looped beat-boxing and electric violin that veers from the serene to the screeching, and marks the duo as a musical act to watch out for. They also use other effects and instruments to produce their songs, trusting that every instrument can be played together.
Tickets for an evening of unpredictable music cost 1,400 baht including a three-course set menu. Bed Supperclub is located on Sukhumvit Soi 11.
