Information

Dynamic classical crossover ensemble Viva! will blow you away with their sensational fusion of pop and light opera every Tuesday night throughout May at the L'Appart on the 32rd floor of Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit. From 7.30pm to 9pm on May 7, 14, 21 and 28, music lovers can enjoy an enchanting evening with the Thai prodigies. They have taken the country by storm with their inspirational and impassioned recital of traditional light opera, contemporary pop music, and power rock. Featuring five singing superstars, Thailand's first and only crossover musical ensemble will perform a wonderfully eclectic set that includes favourites such as Oceano, 21 Guns, Toreador, Prayer In The Night, a Queen medley, Unchained Melody, a Beatles medley, and more. Viva! recently returned from a tour of South Africa where they were showered with rave reviews. Jonathan Taylor of Radio Today said: "Viva Viva! Pure unadulterated, honest singing pleasure. I couldn't help loving these young Thai performers. "No razzmatazz, no pseudo-showmanship, just good singing." For reservations, call 02-126-9999 ext L'Appart or email H5213-FB2@sofitel.com.
