Information

First opened in 1996, Ruenrose is regarded as one of the favourite Thai restaurants in Bangkok’s east. Other than its well-established culinary esteem, the 300-seater also draws in customers from near and far with its breathtaking lakeside ambience that’s perfect for all occasions, whether it’s a family dinner, a casual gathering or a romantic night out. The restaurant’s extensive menu combines home-styled Thai dishes with a variety of favourites typical of seafood joints. More than 200 items are categorised under ‘‘specialities’’, appetisers, salad, yum, soup, curry, chilli dip, stirfries and rice and noodles. The list of mains is even arranged into sub-species of meats, for example: sea crab, roe crab, soft-shell crab, river prawn, shrimp, seabass, garoupa, cuttlefish, cockles, clams, mussels and scallops. The restaurant offers many different seating zones, from a spacious waterfront terrace to a private open-air pavilion, an air conditioned dining room and a lounge-like bakery cafe. Service was homely and efficient. Food was served quickly. Call 02-373-6389 and 02-729-6173.
