Gene Kasidit will be adding some frisson to a dinner-concert event at Bed Supperclub later this month.
Disco diva Gene Kasidit and band will be performing live at Bed Supperclub, Sukhumvit Soi 11 on May 18. Expect lots of unconventional music and gender-bending antics.
A former member of electro-rock band Futon who has since gone solo, Gene recently released a full-length album called Blonde. The first single lifted from this debut collection, Life Goes On, has been topping the Fat Radio charts for several weeks now.
Gene's unmistakable voice is paired to powerful effect with an eclectic mix of distorted guitar, electronic and grunge sounds. She is also becoming an instantly recognisable face on the local nightlife and entertainment scene thanks to glamorous photos of her that have been appearing in Thai fashion and society magazines.
The performance starts at at 9pm. Tickets cost 1,600 baht and include a three-course set menu prepared by chef Edo.
