To celebrate French National Day, Alliance Francaise Bangkok is holding a party to which everyone is invited.
The "Free Bastille Party" will take place a day early on Saturday from 8pm in the garden of Alliance Francaise on Sathon Tai Road. This is the last major event in the grounds before the language institute moves to Lumpini.
A DJ will warm things up before the delightful Delphine Elbe and Jean Phy Hann take to the stage. They have performed alongside the likes of Celine Dion, Tina Arena, Johnny Hallyday, Florent Pagny and Garou.
Delicious food such as merguez sausages with fries, roast chicken, crusty sandwiches, salads, plates of charcuterie and cheese, and crepes will be available.
The event is also a chance to sip the wines of southwestern France and relax at the 1930s-inspired boudoir bar Le Derriere, where Champagne, an absinthe fountain and cocktails will be on offer.
Visitors can also win great prizes from a lucky draw organised by the Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce.
Admission is free. Call 02-670-4231 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
