The Old England Students Association under Royal Patronage (OESA), led by president Burin ‘‘Jobe’’ Nakcharoen, is organising a gala dinner for its esteemed members and friends on Aug 29 at the Dusit Thani Hall, Dusit Thani Hotel in Bangkok.
The theme of the evening is ‘‘Diamonds are Forever’’ and guests are expected to dress in black tie, long gowns and show off their dazzling diamond jewellery.
There will be a champagne reception amidst a magnificent diamond collection, serenaded by the OESA quartet, followed by an authentic sit-down British dinner and a mini concert by jazz artist Marlene Rowling.
Taweewet ‘‘Paye’’ Srinarong and his talented sisters from Vietrio will also grace the stage.
Among the invited creme de la creme are British Ambassador Mark Kent, former prime minister Anand Panyarachun, and the Crown Property Bureau director-general Dr Chirayu Israngkura na Ayudhya.
