The 60th YWCA International Charity Bazaar 2013 will take place at the CentralWorld Live Hall and Zen Gallery of CentralWorld from Nov 30-Dec 1.
Famous products from 40 countries will be available under the same roof during an international bazaar at CentralWorld at the end of this month.
Organised by the diplomatic corps based in Thailand and the Young Women's Christian Association of Bangkok, the 60th YWCA International Charity Bazaar 2013 will feature more than 300 booths, which offer special prices on a wide variety of products from around the world. Some items are discounted at up to 70%.
Unlike in previous years where booths were set up separately around the shopping centre, all of the products will be gathered and ready for shoppers within the same venue, CentralWorld Live Hall and Zen Gallery, both on the 8th floor of CentralWorld, on Nov 30-Dec 1 from 10am to 8pm.
The two-day event will see outstanding goods which are carefully selected by the wives of the ambassadors from over 40 countries including Bangladesh, Chile, Denmark, Egypt, Iran, Peru, Japan, South Korea, Morocco, Norway, Pakistan, Sweden and the US.
Apart from the highlighted products, native goods and national handicraft products will also be available at the charity bazaar. They include ice-cream, tea, coffee beans, wine silk, accessories, garments, leather wear and souvenirs to condiments, snacks, fruits, perfume, cheese, kitchenware, furniture and handmade goods.
There is also a charity raffle at 50 baht per ticket, with more than 300 prizes including round tickets to France, jewellery and accessories. And, as usual, each embassy booth will offer a special kind of homemade goodie, such as cookies, hamburgers and stollen cakes.
Entrance fee is 20 baht. Proceeds from the event will benefit many charity projects.
