Culinary delights with a string quartet

Dusit Thani Hua Hin presents “Sunrise in the East”, an evening of culinary classics featuring the Phillips String Quartet at the Napalai Ballroom on Feb 28 at 6.30pm.
The quartet will capture the mood and imagination with stunning renditions of Hydn’s seductive Sunrise or Quartet No. 63 in B Flat Major Op 76, N0 4; Mozart’s delightful Hunt or Quartet No. 17 in B Flat Major K458; Purcell’s renowned Chacony in G Minor and Tchaikovsky’s timeless Andante Cantabile.
Phillips String Quartet comprises acclaimed violinist Leo Phillips, together with his celebrated sister Ruth Phillips and two of Thailand’s top string players — Tasana Nagavajara and Ruaychai Saengow.
Tickets cost 1,500 baht and include a Thai buffet dinner or 1,600 baht includes an Italian 4-course dinner (500 baht for the show only). Complimentary cocktails will be served before the show. Call 032-442-100.
