St Valentine’s Day is one of the most popular days in the year for people to get married. But a common question is: where is the best place to mark the start of your married life? Seacon Bangkae is holding a “Valentine: Love No. 14” fair where those who are certain that they are a match made in heaven can pledge their love and receive gifts, plus a chance to win a grand prize at the same time. Held in collaboration with three district offices in Bangkok: Phasi Charoen, Bang Khae and Thon Buri, the marriage registration service will be available at the Activity Court, Hall B, on the first floor of the shopping centre tomorrow from 8.30am to 4pm. Each of the three districts have been chosen as their names have lucky meanings in Thai. Phasi Charoen translates as “wealth” and it is believed that couples who register their marriage in this district will have a prosperous and financially-rewarding marriage their whole lives. For Bang Khae couples, they will be blessed to both take good care of each other while Thon Buri couples’ marriages are bound to enjoy a long-lasting love. Each couple who registers their marriage at the fair will receive a pair of government lottery tickets, a souvenir doll, movie tickets for the Honeymoon seats at the EGV cinema, a 500 baht voucher from Tops supermarket, plus a “Love Promissory Certificate” signed by all three district directors.
