The 47th ‘Diplomatic Red Cross Bazaar’ features products from around the world at the Royal Paragon Hall of Siam Paragon on March 1-2.
The annual charity shopping event by the Thai Red Cross Society and spouses of diplomats in Thailand will return to Siam Paragon this weekend.
The 47th “Diplomatic Red Cross Bazaar” will feature booths of international products from more than 55 countries as selected by their embassies based in Thailand. Among the new countries joining this year’s event are Finland, Nepal and Austria.
The quality products are available at special prices throughout Royal Paragon Hall, fifth floor of Siam Paragon from noon to 8pm on March 1, and 10am to 8pm on March 2.
Items include perfume and wine from France, wardrobes and accessories from India, food and ginseng from South Korea, top quality salmon from Norway, brand-name watches from Switzerland, cosmetics from Bulgaria, vitamins from Australia, local fabric from Bali, Indonesia, and consumer goods from the US.
Cultural shows and performances from many countries are also lined up to entertain visitors on both days.
As in previous years, there are raffle draws priced at 50 baht each and prizes include air tickets and gift vouchers from leading hotels.
Proceeds from the fair will benefit many royal charity works under the projects of Thai Red Cross Society.
