Siriraj Hospital is the oldest hospital in Thailand. It is situated, found on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River, opposite Thammasat University's Tha Phra Chan campus. The hospital was founded by King Chulalongkorn in 1888.
The main objective of the hospital is to serve as a teaching hospital (as the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University).
It has a capacity of more than 3,000 beds and more than one million outpatient visits per year.
