Pakistan stamp commemorates royal visit

In 1962, Their Majesties King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit paid a 12-day state visit to Pakistan from March 11-22. This state visit marked an important milestone as it has created a good understanding and strong diplomatic relationship between the two countries.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of this important royal state visit, and to celebrate the occasion the Pakistan Post has issued a beautiful, commemorative stamp.

The stamp features the image of Their Majesties being warmly greeted and garlanded in the traditional way in Pakistan during the March 1962 visit.
