Into the desert that is Thailand's contemporary art scene comes "Art in the Ninth Reign: Thai Trends from Localism to Internationalism", one of the most gigantic exhibitions ever put on by the Bangkok Art and Cultural Centre.
The show features the work of more than 300 artists selected by six curators: Prof Apinan Poshyananda, Luckana Kunavichayanont, Sermkhun Kunawong, Gridthiya Gaweewong, Pakorn Klomkliang, and Nikan Wasinondh.
The exhibition is structured to explore nine themes that echo art created during the reign of our current monarch, His Majesty King Rama IX.
