This November the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre will become a platform for leading names in performing arts, including theatre, mime and contemporary dance.

TheBACCPerformance Festival#1 will be running at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre on Pathumwan intersection from Nov 9-30. There is no admission charge. Call 02-214-6630—8 ext 530 or visit www.bacc.or.th.

Held for the first time, the "BACC Performance Festival #1" will feature performances, workshops and seminars by art innovators and renowned artists, at the Studio, 4th floor and the Multi-Purpose Room, 1st floor, from Nov 9-30.

The performance line-up comprises:

"Expression Mime" by Konnakhao Mime Academy on Nov 9 at 6.30pm, and Nov 10-11 at 2pm and 6.30pm

"Reconstruct Deconstruct" by Asiatopia on Nov 14-15 at 1pm, Nov 16 at 6.30pm and Nov 17-18 at 4.30pm (preceded by a seminar from 1-3pm on both days)

"About Face" by Bangkok Theatre Network on Nov 16-25 at 7pm, plus a 2pm show on Sat-Sun

"(Noting) Noting the Self" by Thanatporn Kittikong on Nov 20 at 7.30pm and Nov 21-22 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm

"The International Dance Festival 2012" by Friends of the Arts on Nov 23 at 7.30pm, Nov 24-25 at noon and Nov 26-30 at 11am
