Patterns in nature reflect wonders of science

Eat Me Restaurant presents "Spiral" _ an exhibition that showcases Steven Simon's series of sculptures and photographs based on research into geometry in nature, such as structure, volume and space.

The very act of planting seeds, watching them grow, and observing how they develop structural form, reflects how Simon sees and thinks of shapes, textures and spiralling structures.

His materials and mould-making method capture the textured surfaces of flowers and vegetables that evoke spiral forms reminiscent of DNA spirals and galaxies.
