The United Nations Girls' Education Initiative (UNGEI) has extended the deadline for its "Gender Drawing Contest 2012" until Jan 31.
Held to promote gender equality in education, the contest is a chance for people aged up to 18 years of any nationality in Asia and the Pacific to create drawings using any material to portray what they think teachers can do to ensure girls and boys benefit equally from quality education.
Entries will be used by UNGEI partner agencies in their publications, presentations, websites and promotional and advocacy material.
