Exploring the nature of decay

Kathmandu Photo Gallery presents "Abandon/Decay", an exhibition by Canadian photo-artist and filmmaker Liam Morgan whose new series of works explore the nature of decay and the many ways we abandon things.

Abandon/Decay will be on show at Kathmandu Photo Gallery from Friday to Feb 24. The gallery is on Pan Road, near the Indian temple on Silom Road and is open daily except Mondays from11amto 7pm. Call 02-234-6700.

Based on the notion that what is abandoned will decay and what we do not feed and nurture will die _ love, hate, anger _ his works are allegorical self-portraits involving non-attachment and our selective use of abandonment as an emotional tool. How something is abandoned dictates the way it decays.
