A Vietnamese supermodel, famous for being willing to show most of it, has been fined for showing all of it.

Vo Hoang Yen, 25, was fined 3.5 million dong (roughly 5,000 baht, $168) for indecent exposure during an alleged costume malfunction at a show in Ho Chi Minh City to introduce a brand of male body spray.

"If it happens again, Yen will be banned from performing," said city government official Vo Trong Nam, according to a report in Thanh Nien, the official youth newspaper.

The organizers should also share the blame and they are the ones who came up with the dress in the first place. They should be paying the fine, not the model!

Prostitution runs rampant and the government does nothing. A model shows a peek and the entire media and government are alarmed. Something is seriously wrong with this thinking.

Over time societies have been built around myths and legends, these stories help form the mind set and define the generations. I would suggested that reading the tale of Narcissus and further reading of Pandora’s Box might be a good way to lay foundations for a more wholesome and fulfilling life, but the list should go on and storytelling should be part of the curriculum.

In a way I understand a country that wants t keep out the rubbish from the West. Why fashion shows still happen is something I wonder about. Society is obsessed with the superficial.

In the States we have singers on MTV showing their crotches and then we say it is our "freedom" to do so.

People should be more concerned with freedom from hunger the fear of getting sick without proper health care.
