Yanyong Olarachin has not slowed down since he was named national artist in 2007, continuing to develop his vision.

The results can be seen at "The Black and White Photography with Film Camera Exhibition", which showcases more than 120 of his images at the Changing Exhibition Hall of Thailand Cultural Centre from Friday until April 9.

Presented by the Department of Cultural Promotion, Ministry of Culture, the exhibition reflects Ajarn Yanyong's techniques in black and white photography, film development and darkroom film processing. The veteran photographer will teach how to produce classic photos using a film camera.

All of the photos on show are 16 inches (40cm) by 20 inches (51cm) in size. Limited edition copies of his second book, which compiles photographic works of the past 50 years, will be on sale during the exhibition. Only 1,200 copies have been printed and they sell for 500 baht each. All proceeds will be donated to the Cardiac Children Foundation of Thailand.

Ajarn Yanyong will also be present in the afternoon every day throughout the exhibition period (except this Saturday) to offer tips and knowledge on photography, free of charge.
