The Box Prop & Studio presents "Street Inbox: Exhibition Photography By Sideways".

The group's images capture unique street scenes _ a straightforward depiction of poignant situations, as if holding up a mirror to society.

The candid photos on display, often satirical and sophisticated, with a wicked sense of humour, are an honest reflection of the impressions of the man or woman behind the lens.

According to Vinai Dithajohn, a renowned photojournalist and mentor of the Sideways artists, Bangkok is a perfect venue for this expressive boundaryless photographic genre as we contradict ourselves everywhere.

His six works will be on show alongside the other 66 pieces, six from each of the 11 Sideways members who had attended his Bangkok street photo workshop last year.

The 11 participating photographers are Chakapan Akapanthanon, Atiwat Silpamethanont, Anuchid Lermsum, Suphapong Eiamvorasombat, Sidthijade Rueangpeerapat, Jirayu Chartprasop, Harit Srikhao, Pornthep Jaipra, Ariya Khamya, Tipawan Gatesomboon and Patipat Janthong.

"Street Inbox: Exhibition Photography by Sideways" is on show at The Box Prop & Studio from today until April 30. The opening ceremony is today at 6pm.

The studio is located on Pichai Road (Soi Santisuk) and is open daily from 5pm to midnight.
