DOB Hualamphong Gallery presents "Journey", an exhibition of latest work by Anak Navaraj, a talented young Thai lensman who graduated with a master's degree in photography from New York's Pratt Institute.
Anak's images suggest that the goal of a journey does not necessarily have to be reaching one's destination but can instead have more to do with being open to the experiences and chance encounters one may have along the way.
"A journey can last for mere minutes or it can take a lifetime. But no matter how long it is, there will always be moments that stay with you," he said. "While on assignment, I often work from a list of shots required by the client. But in between taking the assigned shots, there are often times where I come across remarkable images and manage to capture them through my lens and that reminds me why it's always wise to travel with a camera."
