Contemporary artworks inspired and influenced by local and folk handicraft are on show at the ''Innovation of Thai Art'' exhibition at the Thai Bank Museum in Bangkok.
On show until July 19, the exhibition demonstrates the value of Thai arts that have been nurtured through local culture and intellectuals.
It features more than 30 pieces in various media including relief metal, mixed media, Thai lacquer, leather stencils, stucco and wood. They were created by 10 post-graduate students at Silpakorn University's Faculty of Paintings, Sculpture and Graphic Arts.
