Inevitable exhibition of international collaboration

ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT

When eight artists from four different countries collaborate, maybe it's inevitable that the end result is imperfect.

Inevitably Imperfect will be on show at Artery Post-Modern Gallery from Friday to July 20. The opening ceremony is on Friday at 7.30pm. The gallery is located on Silom Soi 19 and is open Monday to Saturday,10am to 7pm. Call 02-635-3133/4 or 081-134-0210.

The group exhibition opening on Friday at Artery Post-Modern Gallery makes no apology for this _ in fact the title is "Inevitably Imperfect".

The eight artists express their interpretations of the theme while exploring connections that exist within the worldwide contemporary art movement.

The artists are Dan Barry and Edward Robin Coronel from the US, Jana Brike from Latvia, Dexter Sy from the Philippines, and Jittagarn Kaewtinkoy, Pichate Kiewprasirt, Niwat Promma and Rattana Salee from Thailand.

Many of the artists know one another via social media and some have exhibited together in the US and Europe. This is the first time they will exhibit together as a collective in Asia.
