Modern Gallery presents "Growing-Up", the 10th solo exhibition by talented young artist Montree Moungkun.

On show are 14 acrylic on canvas paintings and one sculpture, which reflect how the artist finds himself growing up every single year with every single solo exhibition and how he has been through moments of holding on, letting go and passing by.

"I'm satisfied by living each day the way I really am," said Montree.

For him, working on aesthetic subjects day by day is a great way to practice his prophetic inner and to sharpen himself. "No matter how my works become right or wrong, the most important thing is they all are matching with my own way to grow up," he said.

The 31-year-old artist won several awards, including the 23rd Young Thai Artists Award 2005 and a recognition award from the Ministry of Culture in 2011 for his contribution to Thai art and culture.

He has had numerous solo exhibitions in Singapore and his works have caught the attention of many international collectors.
