Thailand Post celebrates the season of love with a new collection of postage stamps.
The Valentine collection comes with two similar designs. The first one features a big heart in blue dots encircling a red heart with a blue hand in a sign language representing “I love you” at the centre of the stamp. The other design has a blue heart instead of the hand motif.
This is the first time the techniques of micro perforation and micro milling are employed in producing the collection, which also comes rose-scented. The collection is priced at 10 baht for a set of two stamps and 50 baht for a set of 10, and can be purchased from any post office nationwide.
They are also available at many fairs, which are running until Feb 16 such as the “Valentine Festival 2014” fair at Fashion Island on Ram Intra Road, the “Rak Mak Mai” fair at The Paseo Town Ramkhamhaeng, and the “Sweet Valentine” fair at Future Park on Phahon Yothin Road, plus the “Rak Yao Nan” fair, which will take place at CAT Tower on Charoen Krung Road tomorrow.
