A widely-used cosmetic ingredient, shea butter now takes the leading role in L'Occitane's latest skincare range. Rich in vitamin A, E and fatty acids, the natural ingredient has been used to protect the skin against wind and environmental damage and women in West Africa know well of its beauty secret.

L'Occitane's new collection contains shea butter sourced from a sustainable joint-development programme with the women of Birkina Faso, a landlocked country in West Africa.
